My Roommates Love

Every night as the lights goes dim to darkness
My roomie falls asleep slipping into his quilt
Fobbing me he lends an ear to his phone and whispers
trying to listen, the words fall deaf at my ears

His sorrow and sweet coated talks after days work
deserting his ease he sets voyage to define love
seasons of testing times come falls and goes
but like a true marksman he endures them all

Getting irritated sometimes he barks like a dog
filthy words he utters marring the girls beauty
even keeps smiling as the filth never returns
but then he saddens, for everything inside burns

He then reconciles, harmonising with his beloved
for everything he said is like a broken love song
While he gets the stick settling on receiving end
Loving every bit for he knows barrels need to bend

Calling it eternal love he freezes to his dreams
tinted hearts fly all over his nerves as he sleeps
with a thud as i woke him up and shout her name
i hate him all for he refrains me to do the same

Love's blind, indeed all love flows in the night
the desire to love live align adapt makes it shine
For the longest periods of darkness it shows shores
IF, is the word, success and all you do is adore
But then IF is the middle word of LIFE
